H.P. Lovecraft's Opus
H.P. Lovecraft's Opus

Most of Lovecraft's short stories appeared in the magazine Weird Tales, beginning in 1923.Much of Lovecraft's work
was directly inspired by his nightmares, and it is perhaps this direct insight into the subconscious and its symbolism
that helps to account for their continuing resonance and popularity. His opus are Amazing, Astounding, and Tales of
Magic and Mystery.

At the Mountains of Madness remains one of the few works of American science fiction from the 1930s that can be read
today for genuine literary pleasure rather than dutiful historical interest. It represent The truth about an expedition to
Antarctica in the 1920's where everyone died horribly. The truth about an attempt to find the expedition's mysterious
killers. The truth about a desolate plateau in the heart of a frozen continent. The truth about life and intelligence
on the planet Earth. H.P. Lovecrafta display the story with horrors, which are hinted at the myths and legends.
His stories created one of the most influential plot devices in all of horror.

Other opus
from H.P. Lovecraft are:
The Case of Charles Dexter Ward
The Shunned House
The Dreams in the Witch House
The Statement of Randolph Carter and so on
