H.P. Lovecraft

Howard Phillips Lovecraft was born in 1890 in Providence,Rhode Island. He was an American author of fantasy and horror fiction, noted for giving horror stories a science fiction framework. he became a published author at sixteen, contributing a monthly newspaper column on astronomy. In 1923,the publication of his short story "Dagon", which inspired him in his literary aspirations and marked the beginning of his careeras a regular contributor. But he die from cancer in 1937.

He is a great man in the world, which is represented by his wonderful prose,prolific letter,horror writing and films. He published only one book during his lifetime, and his reputation remained obscure until the late 1940s when his friend, author August Derleth, and Donald Wandrei founded the Arkham House imprint in order to collect and publish Lovecraft's work.
